Shawnee, KS (November 30, 2024) – Several people were injured in a motor vehicle accident that occurred on Wednesday afternoon, November 27, in the Shawnee area.
At around 2:30 p.m., a vehicle collision took place in the 6700 block of Lackman Road. The impact of the crash caused one vehicle to go off the roadway and collided with a pool building. One person in the building and two people in the vehicle were injured. Firefighters extricated the driver from the wreckage and transported them to an area hospital. A passenger and the victim in the pool building were both treated for injuries. At this time, the incident is under investigation.
