Pettis, MO – Crash On Northbound US-65 At Route D Sends One To Hospital

Pettis, MO (December 21, 2024) – A two-vehicle accident on Northbound US-65 at Route D led to one person being hospitalized with moderate injuries.

On December 19, a crash involving a 2017 Dodge Caravan and a 2021 Mack Truck was reported just after 12:28 p.m. According to initial reports, the accident occurred when the Mack Truck, traveling eastbound, pulled out in front of the Dodge Caravan, which was heading northbound. This caused the Caravan to collide with the right side of the truck’s trailer.

The 56-year-old female driver of the Dodge Caravan sustained moderate injuries and was transported by Pettis County EMS to Fitzgibbon Hospital. The vehicle was extensively damaged and towed from the scene. The driver of the Mack Truck, a 64-year-old male, did not report injuries and was able to drive his vehicle away.

At this time, an investigation into the crash remains underway.
