Independence, MO (December 24, 2025) – A vehicle crash near East 39th Street South sent one woman to the hospital with reported head and neck pain on Monday afternoon, December 22, in Independence.
Emergency dispatchers received the call around 12:26 p.m. According to dispatch information, the crash occurred near East 39th Street South and involved a rear-end collision. The impact caused one vehicle to spin off the roadway and into a nearby ditch.
Emergency services arrived quickly to assess the scene and provide medical care. Responders located a female passenger who complained of head and neck pain following the crash. Paramedics evaluated her at the scene and transported her by ambulance to a local hospital for further examination. Officials confirmed that she remained conscious and stable during transport.
