Jackson Township, MO (October 2, 2026) – A 55-year-old Sedalia man was injured as a result of a Jackson Township car accident that occurred on Tuesday evening, September 29.

According to reports from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a 2023 Porsche Macan and a 2021 GMC Sierra collided on US Highway 50 near Northwest 1201 Road at around 6:25 p.m. The vehicles were both traveling westbound at the time of the incident.

The 55-year-old Sedalia man driving the Porsche was injured in the accident. Johnson County Ambulance transported him to Western Missouri Medical Center for further care.

A 43-year-old Tonganoxie, Kansas, man was driving the GMC. He was not listed among those injured. The Porsche sustained total damage, while the GMC sustained extensive damage. Ron’s Towing removed both vehicles from the scene.
