Grain Valley, MO (December 10, 2024) – Emergency officials were called to the scene of a motor vehicle accident that occurred on Sunday afternoon in Jackson County and ended in injuries. The Missouri State Highway Patrol was called to the crash site at around 1:20 p.m. on December 8.
Official reports show that a 2015 Lexus RX was stopped on Route FF while waiting to make a turn onto South Buckner Tarsney Road. For unknown reasons, the vehicle was struck in the rear by a 2002 Ford Ranger. A passenger in the Lexus, identified as a 75-year-old woman from Edessa, Missouri, was injured in the crash. Fort Osage Fire and EMS transported the victim to St. Luke’s East for emergency care. At this time, the crash is being investigated.
