Johnson County, MO (May 13, 2026) – A Warrensburg rear-end accident left at least one person injured early Tuesday morning in Johnson County. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash happened at approximately 3:07 a.m. on May 12 along US-50 east of NW 121st Road.
Authorities reported that a 2014 Nissan Juke, driven by a 26-year-old woman from Kansas City, was traveling eastbound when it struck the rear of a 2005 Dodge Caravan operated by a 50-year-old man from Warrensburg. The impact caused extensive damage to the Nissan, which was later towed from the scene by Warrensburg Tow. The Dodge Caravan sustained minor damage and was driven away following the collision.
The driver of the Dodge Caravan suffered injuries in the crash and was transported by private vehicle to Western Missouri Medical Center for medical care.
