Wichita, KS (July 13, 2025) – A busy intersection in southeast Wichita saw emergency crews respond to an injury accident early Friday afternoon.
At around 1:27 p.m. on July 11, reports came in about a crash at the intersection of Kellogg Drive and Oliver Drive. According to information released by the Kansas Highway Patrol, at least one person was injured when vehicles collided in the southeast part of the city. First responders worked quickly to secure the scene, assist the victims, and ensure traffic flow was maintained as much as possible.
Paramedics treated those hurt at the scene before transporting them to area hospitals for additional care. The exact nature and severity of the injuries have not yet been released by local authorities. Lanes near the intersection were partially blocked for a short period while crews removed vehicles and debris. Investigators are still working to determine what led to the accident.
