Warrensburg, MO (December 16, 2024) – A pedestrian accident reported in Johnson County sent a 78-year-old woman from Warrensburg, Missouri, to an area hospital with serious injuries. Missouri State Highway Patrol troopers were called to the crash site at around 8:05 p.m. on December 14.
Official reports show that a 2009 Nissan Versa was traveling on North Mitchell Street. As the vehicle proceeded through the area just 200 feet north of East Gay Street, it struck a pedestrian. The pedestrian was severely hurt. Emergency medical services rushed to the scene to render aid to the victim. She was then transported to Centerpoint Medical Center for emergency care. At this time, investigations into the crash are ongoing.
