Kansas City, KS (March 12, 2026) At 8:17 a.m. on March 11, a two-vehicle injury crash was reported along eastbound Interstate 70 about 0.3 miles east of 57th Street in Wyandotte County. According to the preliminary report, both vehicles were traveling eastbound when traffic began to slow, and a rear-end Kansas City car accident followed.
Authorities indicate that a 2008 Ford Taurus, driven by 28-year-old Jonathan Heck of Bonner Springs, struck the back of a 2021 Toyota C-HR operated by 32-year-old Yuleicy Moreno Pineda of Olathe. The crash was investigated by K69. Both vehicles were removed from the scene by Sunflower Tow.
