Kansas City, MO (September 3, 2026) – A Kansas City car accident left two women injured Tuesday afternoon, September 2.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at approximately 4:40 p.m. on northbound Interstate 35 at Chouteau Trafficway. A 2013 Chevrolet Cruze and a 2018 Chevrolet Equinox collided along the highway.

Following the collision, the driver of the Chevrolet Cruze, identified as a 21-year-old woman from Kansas City, Missouri, sustained injuries and was treated at the scene by EMS. The driver of the Chevrolet Equinox, identified as a 54-year-old woman from Kansas City, Missouri, aslo suffered injuries and was transported to North Kansas City Hospital for treatment.

The Chevrolet Cruze sustained total damage and was towed from the scene by Integrity. The Chevrolet Equinox sustained moderate damage and was towed by Brad’s. At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
