La Monte, MO (June 18, 2026) – A La Monte truck accident involving a passenger vehicle and a tractor-trailer left two people injured on Wednesday afternoon on US 50 east of Allen Road in Pettis County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the collision occurred on June 17 at approximately 2:45 p.m. Troopers reported that a 1994 Kenworth T600 tractor-trailer operated by a 47-year-old man from Calhoun was traveling eastbound and attempting to make a right turn into a driveway.

The impact caused extensive damage to the Kenworth and totaled the Toyota Camry. Both vehicles were removed from the scene by towing services.

The 65-year-old driver of the Camry sustained minor injuries and was transported by EMS to Bothwell Regional Health Center for treatment. A 69-year-old female passenger from Sedalia also suffered minor injuries but declined medical treatment at the scene.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol was assisted by the Pettis County Sheriff’s Department during the investigation.
