Kansas City, KS (July 21, 2026) – Seven people, including six children under the age of 12, were injured as a result of a Kansas City car accident on Monday afternoon at North 17th Street and Wood Avenue.
At approximately 1:10 p.m. on July 20, officers were called to the intersection after receiving a report of an injury crash. Police arrived to find that two vehicles had been involved and that several people needed medical attention.
According to the Kansas City, Kansas Police Department, seven people were transported to area hospitals following the collision.
