Sedalia, MO (July 8, 2026) – A Sedalia car accident left two drivers injured following a collision in Pettis County during the morning hours. The crash occurred on July 7 at approximately 7:50 a.m. along southbound US Highway 65 at Marigold Road.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a 1998 Ford Crown Victoria, driven by an 80-year-old woman from Sedalia, Missouri, was traveling eastbound when it crossed into the path of a southbound 2023 Chevrolet Silverado. The Silverado, driven by a 63-year-old man from Lee’s Summit, Missouri, struck the front of the Ford.
Both vehicles sustained extensive damage and were towed from the scene by Don’s Truck Towing. Emergency personnel responded to assist those involved and manage the scene. The 63-year-old male driver of the Chevrolet Silverado suffered minor injuries and was transported by Pettis County Ambulance District to Bothwell Regional Medical Center. The 80-year-old female driver of the Ford Crown Victoria also sustained minor injuries and was taken to Western Missouri Medical Center for treatment.
