Ray County, MO (November 30, 2025) – Three people suffered serious injuries on Saturday, November 29, after a violent two-car crash on Missouri Route 13 just south of East 144th Street.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a 2007 Ford Mustang veered off the right side of the road around 11:15 a.m. The driver overcorrected and slammed into a 2023 Subaru Outback traveling in the opposite direction. The collision crushed both vehicles and scattered debris across the highway.
A 62-year-old woman driving the Ford and her 64-year-old passenger, both from Warsaw, suffered serious injuries and needed emergency medical care. Paramedics rushed them to a nearby hospital. The 75-year-old man driving the Subaru, from Polo, also sustained severe injuries and was taken for treatment.
Firefighters, deputies, and paramedics from the Ray County Sheriff’s Office and the Richmond Fire Department worked together to rescue the victims and clear the wreckage. Investigators spent several hours documenting evidence and interviewing witnesses to determine what caused the crash. The Missouri State Highway Patrol continues to investigate the crash.
