Ozark, MO – Two Drivers Hurt in Crash on Co Rd at MO-NN

Ozark, MO (May 27, 2025) – A two-vehicle collision left both drivers with minor injuries Saturday afternoon just outside the Ozark city limits. The accident occurred around 4:05 p.m. on May 24 at the intersection of County Line Road and Missouri Route NN, approximately five feet north of Ozark.

According to reports from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a 16-year-old driver from Nixa was operating a 2020 GMC Denali truck and had stopped at the intersection. However, the young driver failed to yield to southbound traffic and was struck on the side by a 2017 Honda Civic driven by a 27-year-old man from Ozark.

Both vehicles sustained significant damage and were towed from the scene by Henry’s Towing. The GMC Denali suffered extensive damage, while the Honda Civic was declared totaled.

The teenage driver from Nixa was wearing a seatbelt and sustained minor injuries. He was transported by private vehicle to an urgent care facility for evaluation. The Ozark man driving the Honda Civic was also belted and sustained minor injuries. He was taken by Taney County Ambulance District to Cox South Hospital for additional treatment. Law enforcement continues to investigate the crash to determine if any citations will be issued.

We hope those injured in this accident make a rapid recovery.
