Kansas City, MO (June 17, 2026) – One person suffered critical injuries following a Kansas City motorcycle accident Sunday night at the intersection of North Ambassador Drive and Northwest Old Tiffany Springs Road.
The crash occurred on June 14 when a black Harley-Davidson motorcycle was traveling southbound on N Ambassador Dr approaching NW Old Tiffany Springs Rd with a green traffic signal, according to the Kansas City Missouri Police Department.
Investigators reported that a black two-door Toyota was traveling northbound on North Ambassador Drive and attempting to turn westbound under a flashing yellow left-turn arrow. Police say the Toyota driver failed to yield the right of way to the motorcycle, resulting in a collision within the intersection.
Emergency crews responded to the scene and provided aid to the injured rider before transporting the victim to a local hospital. Authorities indicated the motorcyclist sustained critical injuries.
Police stated that impairment appears to have been a contributing factor in the crash. The identities of those involved have not been released. The collision remains under investigation.
