Smithton, MO (August 15, 2026) – Officials confirmed that one person was injured in a Smithton car accident that occurred on Wednesday, August 12. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash was reported at approximately 5:38 p.m. along Interstate 70 at the 29-mile marker in Jackson County.
