Topeka, KS (June 21, 2026) – A Topeka pedestrian accident left at least one person injured Friday afternoon outside a Dillons grocery store in north Topeka.
The Topeka Police, firefighters, and emergency medical personnel were dispatched to the North Dillons location at 800 NW 25th St at approximately 1:45 p.m. on June 19, following reports of an injury crash involving a vehicle and a pedestrian.
Initial reports indicate the collision occurred near the east entrance of the grocery store parking lot. Emergency crews arrived at the scene and provided aid to the injured pedestrian before arranging transportation to a local hospital for additional treatment.
The circumstances surrounding the collision have not yet been released. Authorities have not disclosed the identity of the injured victim or the driver involved.
Traffic in the area was temporarily affected while emergency personnel assisted those involved and investigated the scene.
The incident remains under investigation.
