Kansas City, KS (May 27, 2026) – A Kansas City motorcycle accident on Tuesday afternoon left one rider in critical condition following a collision along Leavenworth Road. The crash occurred just before 5:00 p.m. on May 26 near the intersection of 38th Street and Leavenworth Road.
Officers with the Kansas City, Kansas Police Department responded to the scene of the accident and began investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash. Authorities reported that the motorcyclist was traveling westbound on Leavenworth Road behind a passenger vehicle. At the same time, the vehicle attempted to make a left turn, the motorcycle moved to pass on the left.
