Shawnee, KS (August 23, 2026) – A Shawnee pedestrian accident left a pedestrian hospitalized Wednesday morning after a vehicle struck a man along Nieman Road.
According to the Shawnee Police Department, officers, the Shawnee Fire Department, and Johnson County MED-ACT were dispatched to the 5600 block of Nieman Road shortly before 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 19.
Authorities said a man sustained injuries in the collision and was transported to a local hospital for additional medical care. Officials have not released the extent of his injuries.
