Liberty, MO (January 20, 2026) – An elderly man was injured on Tuesday, January 20, after being struck by a vehicle near Indecott Road and NE 172nd Street in Liberty.
Emergency crews arrived shortly before 3 p.m. after reports of a pedestrian crash involving a white SUV. Responders found the man on the ground, conscious and breathing, with an apparent ankle injury. Paramedics treated him at the scene before transporting him to Liberty Hospital for further evaluation.
Investigators photographed the roadway, reviewed vehicle positioning, and spoke with witnesses to determine how the crash occurred. Cleanup crews later cleared the area to restore the normal flow of traffic.
The Liberty Police Department continues to investigate the incident.
