Lewis, MO (August 30, 2026) – A Lewis car accident involving two Chevrolet vehicles left a 25-year-old woman injured Friday afternoon on MO-52 north of NE 350 in Henry County.
The crash occurred at approximately 5:24 p.m. on August 28. According to the crash report, a 1988 Chevrolet was slowing while traveling northbound when it was struck from behind by a northbound 2008 Chevrolet Cobalt.
A 25-year-old woman from Windsor, Missouri, who was riding as an occupant in the 1988 Chevrolet, suffered minor injuries. Golden Valley Ambulance transported her to Western Missouri Medical Center for treatment. Her name was not provided in the report.
A 35-year-old Windsor man was driving the 1988 Chevrolet. The Chevrolet sustained moderate damage in the collision.
A 26-year-old Calhoun woman was driving the 2008 Chevrolet Cobalt. The Cobalt was totaled in the crash. Both drivers were wearing safety devices, according to the report. Their names were not provided.
Clinton Wrecker towed both vehicles from the scene. At this time, the Missouri State Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
