Kansas City, MO (January 17, 2026) – Emergency crews responded on Saturday, January 17, to a two-car crash near East Gregory Boulevard and Troost Avenue in Kansas City. The crash happened around 1:51 p.m. and involved a silver Chevrolet Equinox and a silver Ford Explorer.
Dispatch reports confirmed that at least one person was hurt. Responders arrived quickly to assess the scene and assist those involved. Paramedics provided treatment before taking at least one person to a nearby hospital for further care.
Both vehicles were left damaged in the crash. Crews cleared debris from the roadway and reopened lanes as officers directed traffic and ensured the area was safe. The crash caused minor delays while emergency teams worked at the intersection.
