Kansas City, MO (March 21, 2025) – A three-vehicle collision on Interstate 29 left two people injured late Wednesday morning. Emergency crews were called to the scene just south of NW Barry Rd. at around 11:40 a.m. on March 19. The impact caused all three vehicles to veer off the right side of the roadway, resulting in significant damage.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a 2013 Ford Focus, driven by a 21-year-old male from Kansas City, struck a 2015 Toyota Prius, causing it to lose control and collide with a 2003 Ford Mustang. The Toyota Prius was driven by a 58-year-old male, also from Kansas City, while the Mustang was operated by a 23-year-old female from Saint Joseph. The crash led to all vehicles sustaining total damage and being towed from the scene.

Emergency responders transported the Prius driver and a 25-year-old male occupant from the Mustang to North Kansas City Hospital with minor injuries. Authorities remained at the scene for an extended period as they investigated the crash and worked to clear the roadway.

We hope those injured in this accident recover quickly.
