Kansas City, MO (March 21, 2026) – Three people were critically injured in a rollover crash on Friday, March 20, at the intersection of 46th Street and Blue Ridge Boulevard in Kansas City. The crash occurred around 8:25 p.m., according to the Kansas City Police Department.
Police reported that a silver Hyundai Sonata was traveling northbound on Blue Ridge Boulevard when it failed to navigate a curve and left the roadway. The vehicle continued through a grassy area before overturning and catching fire, creating a dangerous scene for those inside.
Emergency units responded and aided all three occupants. The driver, a front-seat passenger, and a rear-seat passenger were transported to a nearby hospital with critical injuries. Authorities later stated that both passengers were in serious but stable condition, while the driver remained critical.
Officers secured the scene and gathered evidence to determine what led to the crash. The Kansas City Police Department continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.
