Kansas City, MO (November 15, 2025) – A tragic crash claimed a pedestrian’s life on Friday evening, November 14, along Blue Ridge Cutoff just north of Raytown Road in Kansas City.
Witnesses say the collision happened around 7 p.m. when an SUV heading north from Raytown Road struck a person walking near or across Blue Ridge Cutoff. The impact threw the pedestrian onto the pavement, causing devastating injuries.
Emergency crews rushed to the scene. Paramedics provided life-saving care at the scene. Despite their efforts, the pedestrian died from their injuries.
The SUV driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with investigators. Officers closed the road for several hours as crews gathered evidence and interviewed witnesses. The Kansas City Police Department continues to investigate this deadly crash.
