A pedestrian suffered life-threatening injuries as a result of a hit-and-run accident that occurred on Tuesday evening, December 11.
Police reports indicate that a pedestrian was walking near 82nd Terrace and Troost Avenue during the evening hours. For unknown reasons, they were struck by a vehicle. The involved vehicles fled the scene of the collision. Emergency medical services rushed to the scene of the crash to care for the injured victim. The pedestrian was transported to a local hospital for emergency medical care. At this time, the incident is under investigation.
