Tyler Lawrence
Tyler Lawrence has practiced law in the Kansas City area for nearly ten years. He started his career at Adam & McGrevey, P.A. in Overland Park and became a junior partner there. He later worked as a senior attorney at Martin, Pringle, Oliver, Wallace & Bauer, LLP before joining Wallentine Injury Law.
Before law school, Tyler played quarterback. He earned a scholarship to the University of Kansas and was on the 2007 team that won the Orange Bowl. He finished his playing career at Pittsburg State University, where he also earned a master’s degree in psychology with Graduate Dean’s Honors. He received his law degree from the University of Missouri–Kansas City School of Law in 2016.
Tyler also founded Lawrence Management Group (LMG), which represents college athletes in name, image and likeness (NIL) deals. He started it after helping his younger brother, a top offensive line recruit, with early NIL offers. His work there covers contracts, negotiation and compliance.
At Wallentine Injury Law, Tyler represents people injured through someone else’s negligence.
Tyler comes from an athletic family. His father was an All-American kicker at William Jewell College. His brother Blake played linebacker at Nebraska and is now CEO of Opendorse. Tyler lives in the Kansas City area with his wife, Lauren, and their three young children. Lauren played basketball at the University of Oklahoma, where she reached back-to-back Final Fours.
