Hardin, MO – Nicholas Dirkse Injured in Crash on Hwy 10 at South St

Hardin, MO (October 30, 2024) – Authorities were notified that they were needed to provide help at the scene of a motor vehicle accident that occurred in Ray County. The collision was reported to officials at around 7:10 p.m. on October 27.

Law enforcement reports indicate a 2004 Cadillac DeVille and a 1995 Kenworth T600 semi-truck tractor-trailer collided on Highway 10, just east of South Street. Both vehicles sustained significant damage in the accident and had to be towed from the scene. The driver of the Cadillac, identified as 44-year-old Nicholas Dirkse, was injured in the crash. He was transported to North Kansas City Hospital for emergency medical treatment. At this time, the incident is under investigation.
