Grandview, MO – Two Hospitalized After Fiery Crash on I-49 Outer Rd

Grandview, MO (May 31, 2025) – Two people were seriously hurt in a violent crash that left both vehicles engulfed in flames Wednesday afternoon near Interstate 49. The incident occurred around 4:00 p.m. on May 28 along the East Frontage Road, also known as the Outer Road, just off I-49.

According to reports from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a light pickup truck and an SUV were involved in what authorities described as a near head-on collision. Following the impact, both vehicles caught fire, prompting a swift response from the Grandview Police and Fire Departments.
