Garden City, MO (June 27, 2026) – A Garden City car accident involving a utility vehicle and a pickup truck resulted in serious injuries Thursday night in Cass County.
Authorities were called to the scene at approximately 9:54 p.m. on June 25 along MO-F at East 331st Street. According to the crash report, the collision involved a 2019 John Deere Gator 835M and a 2001 Ford F-150.
Investigators reported that the Ford F-150 was stopped in the roadway when the John Deere Gator, driven by a 57-year-old man from Garden City, Missouri, struck a towed unit behind the pickup. The circumstances surrounding why the Ford was stopped remain under investigation.
A 54-year-old female occupant of the Gator sustained serious injuries in the crash. She was transported by Cass County EMS to St. Luke’s Hospital on the Plaza for treatment. The driver of the Gator also suffered moderate injuries and was taken to the same hospital for care. Both individuals were reported not to have been using safety devices at the time of the collision.
Both vehicles sustained significant damage and were removed from the scene by a local towing service. The incident was investigated with assistance from the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
