Deepwater, MO (July 13, 2026) – A Deepwater car accident left three people injured on Sunday morning at the intersection of Missouri Highway 13 and SE 700 Road.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at approximately 11:40 a.m. on July 12 at the intersection of Missouri Highway 13 and SE 700 Road.
Investigators reported that a 2020 Chevrolet Camaro, driven by a 17-year-old girl from Deepwater, Missouri, was traveling westbound on SE 700 Road when it entered the intersection and failed to yield to a 2024 Toyota Camry traveling southbound on Missouri Highway 13.
The Camry, driven by a 55-year-old man from Chico, California, struck the passenger side of the Camaro. Following the initial impact, the Camaro continued into a 2016 Jeep Wrangler that was stopped at the intersection. The Jeep was driven by a 54-year-old man from Calhoun, Missouri.
All three drivers sustained injuries in the collision. The juvenile driver of the Camaro was taken by private vehicle to Golden Valley Memorial Hospital. The drivers of the Toyota Camry and Jeep Wrangler were transported by EMS to the same hospital for evaluation and treatment.
All three vehicles sustained significant damage and were removed from the scene by Clinton Wrecker. The Missouri State Highway Patrol was assisted at the scene by the Henry County Sheriff’s Department. The crash remains under investigation.
