Carrollton, MO – Two Injured After Rollover Crash on US-65

Carrollton, MO (May 5, 2025) – A serious crash occurred Saturday morning on United States Highway 65, leaving two people with injuries and one vehicle overturned following a rear-end collision.

At around 11:08 a.m. on May 3, emergency teams responded to the crash near 22833 US-65 in Carroll County. According to Missouri State Highway Patrol reports, a 2017 Toyota Sienna driven by a 45-year-old woman from Waverly was traveling southbound when it struck the back of a 2005 Chevrolet Silverado that had stopped to make a turn. The impact caused the Toyota to veer off the right side of the road, strike an embankment, and overturn.

The woman driving the Toyota sustained minor injuries and was transported to Carroll County Memorial Hospital by local EMS. The 51-year-old male driver of the Silverado, who is from Carrollton, also suffered minor injuries and later self-transported to Citizens Memorial Hospital for evaluation. Both drivers were wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash.

The Toyota was totaled and had to be towed from the scene by L and L Towing, while the Silverado sustained only minor damage and was driven away. The Carroll County Sheriff’s Office and Carrollton Police Department assisted at the scene while the roadway remained partially obstructed during cleanup and investigation.
