Buffalo, MO – Three-Vehicle Crash on US 65 Leaves Three Injured

Buffalo, MO (February 13, 2025) – A multi-vehicle accident on US 65, just one mile north of Buffalo, left three people injured on Tuesday afternoon. The crash occurred at approximately 4:53 p.m. on February 11 and involved a 1997 Toyota 4Runner, a 2019 Chevrolet Equinox, and a 2017 Chevrolet Silverado.

According to reports, the driver of the Toyota 4Runner, a 39-year-old woman from Buffalo, Missouri, was attempting to make a right turn when the Chevrolet Equinox, driven by a 31-year-old man from Louisburg, Missouri, slowed down behind her. The Chevrolet Silverado, driven by a 34-year-old man from Urbana, Missouri, was also traveling northbound and struck the rear of the Equinox, which then collided with the 4Runner.

Emergency medical teams responded to the scene, and three individuals sustained injuries. The driver of the 4Runner, along with two juvenile passengers—a 1-year-old boy and a 9-year-old girl—suffered minor injuries. All three were transported to Citizens Memorial Hospital in Bolivar for treatment.

The vehicles sustained significant damage, with the Chevrolet Equinox and Chevrolet Silverado being towed from the scene by Stauffers Towing. Authorities are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.

We hope those injured in this accident recover quickly.
