Higginsville, MO (July 10, 2026) – A Higginsville car accident involving two vehicles left an 18-year-old woman injured Friday morning at the intersection of Missouri Route U and Missouri Route H in Lafayette County.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at approximately 8:00 a.m. on July 10 near Higginsville. Troopers reported that a 2013 Nissan Rogue, driven by an 18-year-old woman from Kansas City, Missouri, was traveling westbound when it crossed the path of a 2023 Ford F-150 driven by a 27-year-old man from Warrensburg, Missouri who was traveling northbound.
The impact caused the Nissan Rogue to leave the roadway and overturn. The vehicle sustained total damage and was towed from the scene. The Ford F-150 sustained moderate damage and was removed by private tow.
The 18-year-old driver of the Nissan suffered minor injuries and was transported by Odessa EMS to Centerpoint Medical Center for additional treatment. The driver of the Ford was reported to be wearing a seat belt and was not listed as injured.
The car accident remains under investigation by the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
