Topeka, KS (June 20, 2026) – A Topeka rollover accident left two people injured Thursday evening near Lake Shawnee following a collision involving a Jeep Wrangler and an Infiniti.
Deputies with the Shawnee County Sheriff’s Office, officers with the Topeka Police Department, and emergency medical personnel responded to the crash scene at approximately 5:36 p.m. on June 18 at the intersection of Southeast 29th Street and Southeast Croco Road.
According to investigators, a 2016 Jeep Wrangler was traveling northbound when it was struck by a southbound 2005 Infiniti that was attempting to make a left turn. The impact caused the Jeep to roll onto its side.
Authorities reported that two occupants inside the Jeep suffered injuries in the crash. Both victims were transported to a local hospital for treatment. Officials indicated that the injuries were not considered life-threatening.
The identities of those involved have not been released. The crash remains under investigation by the Topeka Police Department.
