Clay County, MO (May 27, 2026) – An Excelsior Springs car accident on Tuesday morning left an 18-year-old driver injured after a three-vehicle crash along US-69 in Clay County. The collision occurred at approximately 9:57 a.m. on May 26 on US-69 southbound at 166th Street.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash happened when a 2006 Chevrolet Silverado traveling southbound collided with a 2026 Toyota Camry for unknown reasons. The impact caused the Camry to cross into the northbound lanes of travel, where it collided with a 2010 Toyota Camry traveling northbound.
