Clinton, MO (May 19, 2026) – A fatal car accident in Clinton claimed the lives of two Lincoln, Missouri residents Sunday afternoon along Missouri Highway 7 in Henry County. The crash occurred at approximately 2:55 p.m. on May 17 at MO-7 and NW 311th Road.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol , the crash happened when a 2016 Ford Taurus traveling eastbound crossed into the westbound lanes and struck a 2023 Nissan Maxima head-on. After the initial impact, a 2015 Ford F-150 traveling westbound struck the Nissan. The F-150 later overturned.
The 77-year-old female driver of the Ford Taurus from Lincoln, Missouri, and her 81-year-old male passenger were both fatally injured. The driver was pronounced at Golden Valley Memorial Hospital at 3:37 p.m., and the passenger was pronounced at the scene at 3:15 p.m. Both were wearing safety restraints.
