Deepwater, MO (April 30, 2026) – A Deepwater car accident resulted in serious injuries Monday evening after two vehicles collided along Southwest 52 Highway in Henry County. The crash occurred on April 27, 2026, at approximately 6:20 p.m., prompting an emergency response to the 4701 block of SW 52 Hwy.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Trooper H. J. Groves investigated the collision. Authorities reported that a 2014 Ford F150 was traveling eastbound when it crossed the center of the roadway and struck a westbound 2015 Nissan Murano head-on.
The Nissan Murano sustained total damage and was towed from the scene by Gary’s Tow. The vehicle was driven by a 17-year-old female from Appleton City, Missouri. She was wearing a safety device at the time of the crash. The teenage driver suffered serious injuries and was transported by LifeFlight Eagle to Research Hospital for emergency treatment.
A 16-year-old female passenger in the Nissan Murano, also from Appleton City, sustained injuries. She was life-flighted to Children’s Mercy Hospital for additional medical care.
The 2014 Ford F150 also sustained total damage and was removed from the scene by Gary’s Tow. The pickup was driven by a 55-year-old male from Edwards, Missouri. He was wearing a safety device and was not reported injured.
Assistance at the crash site was provided by the Henry County Sheriff’s Department. The collision caused temporary traffic disruptions as crews worked to clear the roadway and ensure medical transport for the injured teenagers. The incident remains under investigation.
