Wyandotte Co., KS (December 19, 2025) – A motorcycle accident took place on December 17 along Interstate 70 westbound near Interstate 635, leaving two people hurt. The incident took place at around 8:53 p.m.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, a 2007 Honda motorcycle driven by 21-year-old Gavin Z. McMillan of Kansas City, Missouri, was traveling west in lane one along the highway. At the same time, a 2015 Honda Accord, driven by 22-year-old Jorge Alberto Soriano Acosta of Kansas City, Kansas, was traveling on the road near Interstate 635. For unknown reasons, the vehicles collided, causing them to go off the right side of the highway and strike a guardrail.

McMillan suffered serious injuries and was transported by ambulance to the University of Kansas Health System for treatment. Soriano Acosta also sustained injuries and was taken to the same hospital. Both vehicles were removed by All City Tow. The incident remains under investigation at this time.
