Kansas City, KS (August 10, 2026) – Two people were injured following a Kansas City car accident involving an RV on Interstate 435 on Sunday evening, August 9.
According to the Edwardsville Police Department, a passenger vehicle and an RV collided on the southbound side of Interstate 435 near Metropolitan Avenue. When emergency crews arrived, they found the involved vehicles with damage.
Both occupants inside the passenger vehicle became trapped as a result of the collision. Firefighters worked to safely remove the injured individuals from the wreckage before they were transported by ambulance to a nearby hospital. Authorities reported that both victims suffered possible serious injuries.
The occupants of the RV trailer were not reported to have sustained injuries. The circumstances surrounding the collision remain under investigation by the Kansas Highway Patrol.
