Raymore, MO – Auto Wreck Reported on I-49 near N Cass Pkwy

Raymore, MO (November 17, 2024) – Emergency crews were notified that they were needed to provide health at the scene of a car crash that occurred in Cass County. Authorities were informed of the collision at around 5:40 p.m. on November 14.

According to local law enforcement, a 2019 Dodge Journey was traveling northbound on Interstate 49. As the vehicle stopped for traffic congestion near North Cass Parkway, it was struck from behind by a 2020 Kia Sedona. A 2016 Jeep Cherokee then collided with the rear of the Kia. The Kia was then pushed forward, where it struck the Dodge a second time. All three vehicles were severely damaged in the crash. A 41-year-old female and a 47-year-old male suffered serious injuries in the crash. Both victims were transported to Research Medical Center by South Metro EMS for emergency care. At this time, the incident is under investigation.
