Overland Park, KS (March 26, 2026) – An Overland Park car accident was reported during the early morning hours of March 25 near a busy commercial area, drawing emergency crews to the scene. According to dispatch audio, the crash occurred at approximately 7:53 a.m. along Blue Valley Parkway near West 143rd Street, just outside a Costco parking lot.
Emergency units, including Engine 44, Squad 40, and multiple medical teams, were sent to the location after reports of an injury crash involving two vehicles. Upon arrival, crews confirmed that two cars had collided along the northbound lanes of Blue Valley Parkway. Both vehicles sustained moderate damage as officials began assessing those involved for injuries.
Authorities indicated that at least one adult was hurt in the crash. Paramedics provided care at the scene before transporting one injured individual to the University of Kansas medical facility for additional treatment.
