Buckner, MO (June 24, 2026) – A Buckner car accident left a 19-year-old woman injured Monday night at the intersection of Buckner Tarsney Road and Hanna Road in Jackson County.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at approximately 9:20 p.m. on June 22. Investigators reported that a black GMC Acadia and a black Nissan Rogue collided when the GMC entered the intersection and failed to yield.
Authorities stated that the GMC Acadia, driven by a 19-year-old woman from Buckner, was traveling northbound when it struck the Nissan Rogue, which was being operated southbound by a 54-year-old man from Buckner. Following the impact, the GMC left the roadway and came to rest on its side.
The driver of the GMC sustained minor injuries and was transported by Osage Fire Department personnel to Centerpoint Medical Center for further treatment. Both drivers were reportedly wearing seat belts at the time of the collision.
The GMC sustained extensive damage while the Nissan suffered moderate damage. Both vehicles were removed from the scene by Jackson County Tow.
