Lawrence, KS – 20-Year-Old Woman Killed in Hit-and-Run on E 1500 Rd

Lawrence, KS (November 8, 2025) – A 20-year-old woman from Lawrence lost her life in a hit-and-run crash on Thursday evening, November 6, along East 1500 Road north of Lawrence.

According to the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, the young woman had been running along East 1500 Road around 6 p.m. when a vehicle struck her and left the scene without stopping. Investigators believe the vehicle involved is a white or light-colored truck.
