Kansas City, MO – Two Killed in Street Racing Crash on Wornall Rd

Kansas City, MO (January 1, 2025) – A street racing accident early Monday morning, December 30, claimed the lives of two individuals in Kansas City. The crash, which involved multiple vehicles, occurred near the intersection of Carondelet Drive and Wornall Road.

According to police reports, the incident happened when a black Chrysler 300 and a silver Dodge Charger were racing southbound on Wornall Road from 99th Street at high speeds. During the race, the Chrysler collided with a silver Honda HR-V that was attempting to make a left turn onto Carondelet Drive. The driver and passenger in the Honda were both pronounced dead at the scene. Their identities have not yet been released by authorities.
