Kansas City, MO – Two Critically Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash at Truman Rd & Askew Ave

Kansas City, MO (November 11, 2025) – Two people suffered critical injuries on Sunday, November 9, following a serious two-vehicle crash in Kansas City. The collision occurred around 5:45 p.m. at the intersection of Truman Road and Askew Avenue, according to local police reports.

Investigators said a Toyota Highlander was traveling east on Truman Road when the driver attempted to make a left turn onto northbound Askew. At that moment, a westbound Dodge Dart struck the Highlander, causing major damage to both vehicles.

Emergency crews responded promptly, providing lifesaving aid to the driver and passenger inside the Highlander. Paramedics transported both victims to a nearby hospital with critical injuries. The driver of the Dodge Dart sustained minor injuries and received medical attention at the scene.
