Kansas City, MO (February 17, 2026) – A two-vehicle crash on Interstate 29 in Platte County left a 63-year-old woman hurt on Saturday morning, February 14.
The Missouri Highway Patrol responded around 6:29 a.m. to Interstate 29 at Tiffany Springs Parkway after receiving reports of a collision. Investigators said a 2002 Acura traveled northbound when the driver lost control on a wet roadway.
According to officials, the Acura struck a concrete barrier. The vehicle then returned to the roadway and hit a 2025 Ford that also traveled northbound. The impact caused significant damage to the Acura and moderate damage to the Ford.
Emergency crews evaluated those involved at the scene. A 63-year-old female passenger from Kansas City, Missouri, suffered minor injuries. Paramedics transported her to St. Luke’s Hospital on Barry Road for further evaluation and treatment.
Crews towed both vehicles from the scene. Authorities continue to review the details surrounding the accident.
