Kansas City, MO (April 29, 2025) – A serious crash involving a KCATA bus and two other vehicles disrupted traffic at Truman Road and Prospect Avenue on Sunday afternoon. Emergency crews were dispatched to the scene around 12:15 p.m. on April 27 following reports of multiple injuries.
Upon arrival, authorities found four people injured in the crash. One individual was critically hurt, while three others suffered serious injuries. First responders worked urgently to treat the victims before transporting them to nearby hospitals for additional care. Due to the collision’s severity, police shut down the busy intersection to investigate what led to the wreck. Police have not yet confirmed the cause of the collision, and the investigation remains ongoing.
