Kansas City, MO (November 26, 2024) – Emergency officials in Clay County were requested at the scene of a car crash that left two people hurt. The accident took place at around 5:30 a.m. on November 24.
For unknown reasons, a 2020 Freightliner went off the side of Interstate 35, the Monarch Highway, causing a 2019 Ford Expedition to slow down. As a result, a 2005 Ford 500 crashed into the rear of the vehicle. After the impact, the Ford Expedition continued forward and overturned. A 34-year-old man and a 59-year-old man were injured in the crash. Both victims were transported by EMS to North Kansas City Hospital for emergency care. At this time, the incident is under investigation.
